Train Mountain Railroad

The World’s Longest Miniature Railroad

Midway Garden Railroad

The Garden Railroad is a G-gauge layout built in the interior of Midway Circle.

Train Mountain members may bring their own trains to run through scenes such as this.  There are several dozen G-scale buildings, both kit and homemade from various materials, included throughout the layout.

CSX 8926 exits the tunnel under a man-made moutain.  The tunnel is 12ft long.

The track circles a pond which is fed by an artificial 10 foot waterfall and 50 foot river.  Pictured in the foreground is a 23-foot wood trestle, with an 8-foot wood trestle and a 3.5-foot wood arch bridge in the background.

Situated on about 3 acres of land, the Garden Railroad has over 2000 feet of track.  The maximum grade is 3% with a minimum mainline curve radius of 6 feet.

The main entrance is at the south side of Midway Circle west of Weaver siding.  It is a popular stop for Train Mountain tour trains.

Volcanic rock lines the pathways leading around the layout.  Full sized railroad artifacts add to the decor.

G-Ville, as it is known locally, was started in 2008 by Dennis Ediger and his late wife Mort.
