Triennial Update
Due to train parking constraints, we’ve now placed limitations on registering trains for the Triennial. Registrations for two trains or trains over 50 feet in total length will not be accepted. There are not too many parking spaces left so hurry if you still intend to register.
Kitsap Week
Come join the annual Kitsap Week, April 5-12. This is a week sponsored by The Kitsap 7.5″ Club, of Washington, where we get a jump start on spring clean-up projects before the Spring Awakening Meet. Surely there will be much to be done after February’s heavy snow. Hopefully the snow will be gone (but no guarantees as it was snowing just an hour before this was typed)
Tree Trimming
The trees in the porch at Central Station were pruned following damage from the snow storms. If you were hoping to see their spring blossoms, you’ll have to wait until they regrow their foliage.
Record Snowfall
February saw record snow fall in early February. It snowed for almost a week straight – schools were closed for five consecutive days.
